Katelyn and Clay were high school sweethearts. They ended up being separated as they both went off to college. Their love for each other was strong enough and they were able to rekindle their relationship after graduation. They knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. There is something undeniably sweet about marrying someone you were also fortunate enough to grow up with. They know each other’s history and what makes them the people they are today. Katelyn’s mother planned the entire wedding for them and handmade their wedding cake, the flower arrangements, as well as cooking all the food. Though they were on a budget, they invested in the only thing that truly mattered to them: their photographer. I’ve never felt so honored and privileged to be the sole vendor at a wedding. They knew that, at the end of the day, the one that thing that truly mattered were the memories they created together. Now they will always be able look back and see just how beautiful their special day really was.
