When I first spoke with Rachael she was so eager to meet me! She was my biggest fan even before that conversation. Her theme was so unique! She wanted a rustic Victorian style wedding with a classic feel. In keeping with this theme, she purchased a ball gown-style wedding dress and clear umbrellas as parasols. We were originally expecting rain on her wedding day. Thankfully the weather ended up being beautiful! So we ended up using the umbrellas as props. I also helped her make a timeline before her big day. I try to create one for each wedding I photograph. Not only does it take a significant amount of stress out of the equation. But it allows the bride and groom to spend more time with their family and friends. In this case, it gave us the time we needed to shoot portraits at the Hummingbird House. I couldn’t have felt more honored to photograph this very special and beautiful wedding!
